My Artistic Process
Oftentimes, I'm asked how my Fine Art Expressions are made. I enjoy taking the time to explain how each piece is made. I will explain my process here.

As I mentioned on the title page, no Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used in the generation of my artwork. Rather, each selection is personally photographed and/or designed by me. Once I've captured each scene, I start by cleaning it up in post process--removing distracting elements. This can be pretty labor intensive, taking a great deal of time to complete. One of the best examples to illustrate this process is my "Tranquil Surroundings" expression, captured on location in Manzanillo, Colima in Mexico. On the left is the original scene that I photographed. The expression on the right is the finished work. When I first set my eyes on the scene, I saw through the distracting elements and focused on the tranquil vibe that I got while looking upon it. My goal was to visually illustrate that vibe to the best of my abilities. I went through the process of cleaning it up, enhancing the colors as well as cropping it to arrive at what I call my "base expression state. From there, each expression goes through my 50+ step process to transform them into their finished digital artistic state. This my include additional cropping and color enhancements where needed. Through trial and error over the years, I have developed my own unique process that enables me to be able to more fully express my creative vision for each piece. "Tranquil Surroundings" is just one example. This is such a fun filled process for men and I'm thrilled to be able to share my vision with others to enjoy. |
